Data protection regulations for the application and use of social media plug-ins

We currently use the following social media plug-ins: XING and LinkedIn.
We use the so-called two-way solution. When you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the plug-in providers. You can recognize the provider of the plug-in via the easily recognizable button or logo. You have the option of communicating directly with the plug-in provider using the button. Only if you click on the marked field (and thereby activate it) will the plug-in provider receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offering. By activating the plug-in, your personal data will be transmitted to the respective plug-in provider and stored by them. The plug-ins give you the opportunity to interact with social networks and other users. We have no influence on the data collected and data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing, or the storage periods. We also have no information about the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider. The data is passed on regardless of whether you have an account with the plug-in provider and are logged in there. If you press the activated button and e.g. For example, if you link the page, the plug-in provider also saves this information in your user account and shares it publicly with your contacts. You can prevent your profile from being assigned to the plug-in provider by logging out of the social network before clicking on the activated button. Legal basis for processing

Art. 6 I lit. a GDPR serves our company as the legal basis for processing operations in which we obtain your consent for a specific processing purpose. This concerns the delivery of goods, the provision of other services or consideration as well as the implementation of pre-contractual measures (inquiries about our products and/or services).
If our company is subject to a legal obligation that requires the processing of your personal data, such as to fulfill tax obligations, the processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. c GDPR. In rare cases, the processing of your personal data may be necessary to protect your vital interests as a data subject or another natural person. This is the case if you were injured as a visitor to our company and your name, age, health insurance details or other vital information would then have to be passed on to a doctor, hospital or other third party. Then the processing would be based on Art. 6 I lit. d GDPR. Finally, processing operations can be based on Art. 6 I lit. f GDPR. Processing operations that are not covered by any of the aforementioned legal bases are based on this legal basis if the processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, provided that your interests, fundamental rights and freedoms do not outweigh them. Such processing operations are permitted to puzzle.work.projects GmbH because they have been specifically mentioned by the European legislator. It is considered that a legitimate interest can be assumed if you, as the data subject, are a customer of the controller, ie. puzzle.work.projects GmbH (Recital 47 Sentence 2 GDPR).

Duration for which the personal data is stored

The criterion for the duration of storage of your personal data is the respective statutory retention period. After the deadline has expired, the data is routinely deleted unless it is no longer required to fulfill the contract or initiate a contract.

Legal or contractual regulations regarding the provision of personal data

We would like to point out that the provision of personal data is partly required by law (e.g. tax regulations) or also results from contractual regulations (e.g. information on the contractual partner). In order to conclude a contract, it may be necessary for a data subject to provide us with personal data, which will subsequently be processed by us. Failure to provide personal data will result in the contract not being concluded. Before providing personal data, the person concerned must contact puzzle.work.projects GmbH. We clarify on a case-by-case basis whether the provision of personal data is required by law or contract or is necessary for the conclusion of the contract, whether there is an obligation to provide the personal data and the consequences of not providing the personal data.

Routine deletion and blocking of personal data

puzzle.work.projects GmbH processes and stores personal data of data subjects only for the period necessary to achieve the storage purpose or if this is required by the European legislator or another legislator in laws or regulations that puzzle.work .projects GmbH is subject to. If the storage purpose no longer applies or if a storage period prescribed by the European legislator or another responsible legislator expires, the personal data will be blocked or deleted routinely and in accordance with legal regulations.
